Planning a wedding while you live out of the country can be a challenge. However, the team at the Banana Beach made it just easy and smooth. They welcomed my sister to represent me and try the dishes. And they also did everything to accommodate my big family and friends in the different Villas and Casitas that they have available. We had people form all over Costa Rica and from other countries a well, literally within walking distance of each other.
When we had questions they were ready to respond, many times within minutes! and were patient waiting to hear from our selections. Once we decided on the look we wanted, they made every-single-thing we wished for be there. I do not know even where to start.
The ceremony site was GORGEOUS! we walked between tall vases of tropical flowers, the floor was covered in petals. The chairs were elegantly placed and covered, and we said our vows under a bamboo structure decorated with flowing fabric and the flowers that I had requested.The bouquet was beautiful too!
The reception site went from a blank area in the sand, to a luxurious bright, illuminated area under a gorgeous canopy (at their suggestions we rented the canopy, and we were so glad we did! it rained in the middle of dinner and without it we should have been in trouble, best advice EVER!).
The table clothes, the plate settings, and the flowers were beautiful and elegant. White and silver and awesome. The flowers had LIGHTS!!! it was so cool! There were candles on the tables and everyone was pretty much blown away to be seating at such beautiful table while their toes were still on the sand.
The food… OMG! the food!! I got to meet the chef and I was short of words to thank him. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked and they were able to accommodated to some of my guests that had allergies. The Cake was delicious. And the staff were friendly and helpful and sincerely seemed to be happy for us and did everything they could to make the day special. From Hagit, who organized, everything, to the chef, to the restaurant administrator, to the bartenders, to the wait staff. We were so grateful for all their work and amazing attitude.
I appreciated the commitment to make our vision possible, and also their honesty if there was something they felt was not a good idea (like not renting the canopy) and they know the weather better and the resources available much better than we did. They are real professionals at what they do. We couldn’t have asked for a better team.
